EVALUATION COMMITTEE

The Evaluation Committee is made of EBRA Stakeholder Members who have been selected by the Board of Directors and trained in EBRA breed standard, evaluation operating procedures and who know the guidelines per designation.

Olga is the EBRA Breed Standard Evaluation Committee Chairperson. She is passionate about European Brabant breed preservation and owns two purebred studs at OT Farm in Missouri. She studies equine conformation and actively participates in horse shows to expand her knowledge.

Evaluator: Hani Gasser

Hani has the largest breeding herd of imported Ardennes draft horses in North America at his farm in Canada. He uses his horses in logging agility courses, which provides him unique perspective.

Evaluator: Hein Manders

Hein's experience in breeding European Brabant draft horses goes back five generations to his family farm, Stal De Vinkenpeel, in the Netherlands. Today, he has a breeding program on his farm in Ohio, Koekje Jar Stables. His understanding of the breed standard is unmatched.

Evaluator: Maura Freshour

Maura and her family have one of the largest purebred European Brabant draft horse herds in North America at Jack Creek Farms in Georgia providing Maura with in-depth knowledge of the breed.

Rebecca Courtney is the founder and co-owner of All the King’s Horses - the largest purebred European Brabant breeding program in North America. As a co-Founder of the EBRA and purebred breeder, she has expert, working knowledge of the European Brabant breed.

Stacy has a small purebred European Brabant breeding program on her farm, LowCountry Acres, in Harleyville, SC. She has studied the breed extensively and has an in-depth knowledge of the breed standard.

Megan Greenwood is an Animal Science TA & Assistant Livestock Judging Coach at Texas A&M University

Independent Evaluator: Monique Buellens

Independent Evaluator: Monique Buellens

Monique is the daughter of a renowned Brabant Draft breeder, the late Frans Beullens, of Ranst, Belgium. Given her heritage, Monique was born with a love for the breed. Professionally, she is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine at KUL and has been a valued official jury member of Flemish (Brabant) Horse in Belgium and The Netherlands for several years. Monique currently sits on the European Brabant Registry of America's Advisory and Breed Evaluation Committees.
